Sequoyah Turns 33!
Posted by Sequoyah Electric
On this day in 1988, Sequoyah Electric was born! Today we celebrate Sequoyah’s 33rd anniversary. On behalf of our leadership team, I want to thank you all for all you have done to help making Sequoyah a successful company. Our team’s hard work, talent, and dedication to a job well done are what has made us the company that we are today. Over the last 33 years, we have worked tirelessly to develop relationships with our community, our customers, and each other. We are incredibly grateful to have these strong relationships and we are committed to continue to build more relationships.
2021 has been a year of navigating through post-pandemic challenges. While we are still facing concerns of the variants today, we’ve also learned to overcome and address so many of the obstacles that we have faced over 33 years. The strength of the company comes from our resiliency in the face of adversity, our ability to come together, help each other, and deliver the best service our industry can offer.
Our company’s vision of being recognized as a leader through “Performance, Trust, and Value” is strongly reflected in our work, our skillset, and most importantly, our people. We appreciate our team’s hard work to achieving this vision.
Whether you’ve been here for a few months or 30 years, each of you play an integral part in living out our purpose of “Building Community, Improving Lives”. This purpose means more to me than ever before as we look back on the success Sequoyah has enjoyed and the impact that we have had on our community and the people we touch. In celebration of our anniversary, Sequoyah will be donating $10,000 to ANEW, a local non-profit dedicated to improving the access and advancement of underrepresented populations within the construction trades by providing pre-apprenticeship training programs, youth outreach, and support services. This organization is supported by both IBEW and NECA. To learn more, go to https://anewaop.org/.
Sequoyah wouldn’t be the successful company that it is today without each of you, and for this we sincerely thank and appreciate you. Cheers to 33 years, and to 33 more!
Thank you,
Mahmood
